Another Round of Calls, Another Funny Lady
Last night the campaign held a little party. We recruited volunteers to call people and go door to door on behalf of the campaign. I was a team Captain, and was incredibly proud of my team. Although I was in a great mood already, one lady’s comment made me hackle with laughter. We recently called her house but she wasnt home, so when she got home, just a few minutes later she called back. She took my pathetic survey but when it came to the last question, her answer was well…funny. The conversation is as follows:
Me: When it comes to 2nd ammendment rights, do you most closely identify with the 2nd ammendment or gun control?
Her: Yes yes, I believe in the 2nd commandment!
Me: (laughing) Thank you ma’am, have a great day!
